Aesop Rock

Ian Matthias Bavitz, better known by his stage name Aesop Rock, is an American hip hop artist and producer. He was at the forefront of the new wave of underground and alternative hip hop acts that emerged during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was signed to El-P's Definitive Jux label until it went on hiatus in 2010. He is a member of the groups The Weathermen, Hail Mary Mallon, and Two Of Every Animal. Regarding his name, he said: "I acquired the name Aesop from a movie I had acted in with some friends. It was my character's name and it sort of stuck. The 2010 Baja California earthquake was an earthquake of 7.2 magnitude on the moment magnitude scale. It started south of Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, Mexico, at a depth of. It occurred at 3:40:41 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010, and it is said to have lasted about a minute and a half. The strongest shaking was felt in the ejido of Alberto Oviedo Mota, municipality of Mexicali, at Mercalli intensity scale VIII. In Mexicali, Calexico and Guadalupe Victoria it rated VII, while in Ensenada and Tijuana it measured VI. Most of the damage in this earthquake occurred in the twin cities of Mexicali and Calexico on the Mexico?United States border. Four people were killed and 100 people were injured. No Shave November is a community event in which participants do not shave for the entire month of November. This event is usually participated in for awareness of prostate cancer. Generally one is to shave on the night of October the 31st to participate. Both men and women participate in the month-long event, with men abstaining from shaving their beards, and women their armpits or legs. Happy Halloween is a short horror movie starring Navid Akhavan in the lead role. The film has only been released in Germany and was released straight to DVD on October 24, 2001. The film is directed by Gaby and Simon Bahlsen. Even though the horror movie is not well known, it won a Gold Award for Best Independent Short Film-Fantasy/Horror at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival in 2002.
